:Reeis: Cos its not a colored work so i cant really tell how it'll look like. But ur left hand seems smaller then the other one.Nose looks abit wierd. Other then that, its okay :)

@Kelly: nice!! maybe u can make a white version coz this is a black version XD can make postcards! if it was me, i'd might wanna play with the thickness of the strings, some can be thin, some can be thick, but maybe this is better.

@May Hooi: heeeeee! this is so cute! your characters actually look, erm, 3D? i mean it's flat but it looks like it is elevated a bit from the page. is that the work of some post-processing in the computer or was this done 100% in photoshop? o.O anyway i am not saying that is a bad thing, quite the opposite actually. doens't look flat :D which is good! i love your colouring skills.

@Y'ng: my heart feels elated looking at this :D (a sucker for balloons and blue skies) I really like your colouring style as usual. this is even more fitting with the theme.

@Reeis: nice take on the theme!! XD colour la when u are free~

@Kell : This is very different O.O Looks quite pretty, though a little messy. I'm tempted to see what you were inspired by! The cut of the artboard could be better though... give it a little more or a little less width :P

@Sara : This should be on Facebook feature by We Love Colours! XD Love the poster feel and the non-black lines. My only qualm is that it seems like all the colours are flowing into the tin instead of out of it. Personally I'd prefer the colours to be "escaping" the tin :)

@May Hooi : It's very cute that's for sure. I'm guessing you seperated the hippo figures and added drop shadow of a sort? :) Good thinking of giving it depth and range. The only thing that's disturbing me is that the mama hippos head is not shaped right if you know what I mean?

@Y'ng : Nice and simple. I wonder if you wrote something else on the tag would it be more meaningful? The colours seem a little dull on my computer by that might be just the screen :)

@Reeis : You need to colour thissss XD Proportion is a little off in parts like the head being a smidgen big and the hand that's closer is small. Nice work.

Good job on capturing Dainen's quirky and lovable character.
The client probably thought mismatched clothes was his thing.
Good details on the mask, clothes and shoes.

Careful of spray cans.
They look like their being viewed from the top, while Dainen is seen from the side.

I agree, white background might have brought the colors out more.
Maybe you can try making your signature part of the COlOURS text instead of just keeping it in that corner of the artwork?

Ah, another up-and-coming children book illustrator in our group XD Love the warm feeling I get from this piece. Nice touch with the sunset, and using that sunset's warm glow as a highlight on everything in this pic <3

@daph: i think this is the best work for this theme! You really put a lot of effort for this one. Love the new style & I didn't know you can use flash to draw! Btw, wat is the brown thing below the shorts? Is it the shadow of the knees? Can't see it properly. ^^;

@daph: I was thinking of writing something too but my submission time was almost up. Hehe! I'm not so good in coming up with words fast. Ah, the colours is pretty OK from my screen. ^^;

@Y'ng : I find drawing and colouring in Flash a lot easier than in Illustrator. Of course if used properly, Illustrator does have options that Flash doesn't, but for simple art like this it's much easier ^^

As for those "brown things", those are knee guards XD
