Spring...it's all about colours~~ so there u go, a colourful piece! :D

I was going for something realistic... hopefully I've achieved it to some extent. Had a few ideas for spring, mostly to do with the starting of the season (which I find funny because I'm currently experiencing the middle of autumn).
The lighting's not *quite* there yet, but I think you'd be able to see the dimensions of each object in the image.
Total time taken about 3 hours. Painting large files is painful =D
Because I actually quite liked the details I did on this one. Please appreciate at full view XD

Waah! I almost forgot today is the submission! Must thank Daphne for asking. Thanks Daph! Since time is really strict for me these past few weeks, I decided to do a simple speed painting artwork for this theme.
Took longer than i expected for such simple image. Made a lot of changes for the tree cuz I couldn't get the cherry blossom right. Oh well...
There's no story behind this artwork. This is all i could visualize with the theme. The dogs are just random. But anyways, it's done. So YAY! XD

I decided to draw a humanized form of Spring, called Signora di Primavera (Lady of Spring)
Will re-do when I do have the time (and the proper skills)

Should be renamed "Gay Mountaineer Discovers Last Surviving Weed Post Global Warming"
Like the textures, don't like much else.
Short description, PC hanging like a dead fish.
If you want to comment, just try coming up with lame titles.

Wow... cuttle inc looks half dead after a few months. Should we go back to one week theme? O.o

@MH: LOL! Simple & bright! Whoot! Hmm... i think it will be interesting if you hv different kind of shapes instead of just spiral circle. If you catch what i mean. ^^
@daph: nice idea! Me likey! Haha! i think your bricks looks most realistic compare to the stones and leaf. maybe you add some texture on them. it might help to enhance it. Overall, this is great! XD
@sara: I like! I like! U should do more humans in this form! It looks really good! Love the flow of her hair! Hope to see the new version. XP
@yin: gay mountaineer? I thought it was a girl. Hehe! But nice try on using painter & of course your hanging PC. Only comment is his right hand is slightly off proportion. As for title... to put it simple: A mountaineer discover a flower. Lame enough? XP

Personally I found it more fun when we were doing it on a weekly basis... but then again I don't have a full time job... and this is the part where everyone goes: "Shut up Daphne, wait til you get a real job!" XD
@May Hooi : It's a nice colourful piece there, but I'm not sure if it says "Spring" to me :) Maybe a little more bright/pastel colours and organic shapes.
@Y'ng : Nice last minute job XD Your practicing is paying off. The light and shadows of this piece is wonderful and the dogs are easily spotted and refined.
@Sara : I'm quite surprised by this submition O.O The eye and colour look good, the rest is a little messy... hope you'll re-do it~
@Reeis : Lame title "Ooh, weed!" hippy on a mountain XD He does however, have a large nose...

The 2D graffiti angel sets of the plant's realism quite nicely.

Love the colors, something I can imagine on the packaging of certain cosmetics.
Think you can keep the flowers without outline, like the white daisy.
